We decided to try out Discover Walks; Gaudi Tour. These tours are free and you tip what you think it was worth at the end. We started with some of the finest houses from the early 1900's.
The boys were not impressed.
Here is a statue of Saint George/Sant Jordi, the patron saint. He is famous for slaying the dragon.
The most famous house we saw today was Casa Batllo, buy Gaudi.
This house really is amazing, the symbolism of the dragon is really interesting. Our tour guide did a great job of explaining all of it.
I love how much Addie loves to learn about new places. She is such a good little listener and she takes so much of it in. She looks like such a big girl here.
The boys were not as impressed with the tour. Jon would have loved to listen, but he is a good dad and he was keeping track of our rowdy boys.
I snapped a picture of this lady on her motor cycle, check out those heels. I loved all the color in Barcelona. In Paris we see a whole lot of black clothes and shoes.
Our tour for the day ended at the Sagrada Familia, Gaudi's master piece. It was started in the late 1800s and they are predicting it to be finished by 2026.
There were so many people around the church it was difficult to even move. I would love to come back and see this place when it is done.
Our sweet baby boy was such a good sport, he was really happy to be out of his stroller.
I would definitely recommend trying out Discover Walks if you are in any of the cities they offer them in.
