Another Big City Adventure

Earlier in the week when we went into the city the train conductor told us that children are free on the weekends on the train.   We also found out that you don't have to buy a ticket for children 4 and under. All good things to know.  This morning we got up and headed back into the city.  We were on a mission to get cell phones.  Jon has a work cell phone, but I have been communication free which is a little scary.

While we were downtown I got to shop at H&M, I NEEDED a few things.  We got our cell phones, I can now talk to all my friends here in Norway, I mean friend.  We also got a new camera, but more about that later.
Here are the kiddos outside the National Cathedral.  It is a beautiful church right in the middle of downtown.
Here is Ben being a silly little man, it is what he does best.
This fountain was so much temptation for the kids.
The water came all the way up to the top.  The kids were very good and didn't touch the water.
Here we are on the train home after a full morning of shopping and lunch at the crazy mall food court.
And this is how we felt.  It was interesting today to see some bigger families.  Usually here in Norway we see families with one maybe two children.  Today we saw several families with 3 or 4 children.  I think that has something to do with the train being free for kids on the weekends.  It made us feel a little less crazy with all of our children.

    1. Thanks Anna! We are settling in. We definitely miss all of our friends, and we are getting used to the cold, but we are having fun. I hope you and your family are well.
